Renato is a Chartered Engineer with over 35 years of experience in engineering, project management and commercial responsibilities in the oil and gas industry sector. Renato is one of the founder of SPS after retiring at the end of 2005. His prior experience has been with Snamprogetti and Saipem based in Fano (Italy) and Paris. He brings significant international experience to SPS having worked in Austria, Spain, Norway, France, Colombia, Egypt, Singapore. Presently he is also the Sales Manager of SPS.

(Project Manager)

Gabriele is one of the founders of SPS, joining in as Project Manager. He has worked in the oil & gas infrastructures industry for over 32 years, and played a major role in many important projects: Gabriele covered the position of Project Manager in Snamprogetti (ENI Group) for the most important Statoil trunk lines in the North Sea and he was also responsible of Snamprogetti branch in Norway.

(Technical Director, Project Manager)

Alberto is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with more than 35 years experience in engineering and management within the oil and gas industry field. He worked for more than 30 years in Snamprogetti, initially as subsea pipeline engineer and field supervisor, then as responsible of the stress analysis group, and later on, for a decade, as manager of the submarine pipelines engineering department. He was involved in some of the major pipeline systems in the world, as Transmed, Statpipe, Zeepipe, etc. Subsequently, he acted as project manager for some challenging projects in harsh environment, as Troll Oljeror II, Blue Stream, Sakhalin II - Phase 2, etc. After retirement (2005), he was a cofounder of SPS, where he holds the role of Technical Director and, on specific need, of Project Manager.

(Pipeline Engineer, Human Resources Manager)

Cristian is a civil engineer and thanks to appreciation by other members, is one of the co-founders of the SPS. Starting from a mainly structural university formation, since the beginning has been involved in various project activities, growing his experience in the offshore field. Moreover with the growth of the company, toghether with the technical role, has been involved in the human resources management as manager.

(Geotechnical Engineer, Safety Manager)

Renato joined SPS in September 2006 as geotechnical engineer and field supervisor; he is responsible for geophysical and geotechnical dept. and in office safety according to the provision of Italian law 81/2008. Plays also a role in Inspection, Maintenance and Repair activities, mainly as field supervisor and data control. Previously held the position of diagraphist/mud logger in west Africa for Geoservices S.A. in the upstream oil and gas industry.

(Chief Accountant, Quality Manager)

After graduating in Management and Marketing, Marco joined SPS in June 2008 as accountant. Actually is responsible of the Administration, Finance and Control office and also plays a role in the SPS Quality Management System as Quality Manager.

(Pipeline Engineer, Training Manager)

Vincenzo joined SPS from the beginning, being involved in the design of pipelines and in all the other main engineering activities. He later became the Quality Manager of SPS and was recently appointed as coordinator of all the training activities as Training Manager.

(Research & Development Coordinator, Senior Pipeline Engineer)

Paolo is an Aeronautical Engineer with more than 20 years experience in engineering within the oil and gas industry. He is a specialist for advanced topics in pipeline engineering, formulation of relevant theoretical and numerical models, and analysis of Vortex Induced Vibration (VIV) response. His background also comprises design of experimental VIV tests, development of sophisticated codes for post-processing of accelerometer data, and interpretation of laboratory/field measured VIV data. He joined SPS in 2007, and previously worked as Chartered Consultant Engineer on VIV of offshore structures (Fano, Italy, 2003-2006), Principal Engineer at 2H Offshore Engineering Ltd (Woking, UK, 1998-2002), Senior R&D Engineer at Snamprogetti SpA (Fano, Italy, 1989-1998).

(Information Technology Manager)

Diego joined SPS in May 2007. After a first period as a programmer and network administrator, he brought specific experience in a large number of computer aided processes of the company in order to increase productivity and quality of internal and external services. At the moment he plays the role of IT Manager having the goal to bring SPS to the highest level of information technology standards.
